Week 6, HRM Training

For the first time in 6 weeks, I didn't accomplish my schedule. A combination of work commitments, babysitting commitments and a stomach bug just did not let it happen. The recap:

Mon: 6 recovery miles, did 6.2 at a 10:50 pace. Easily kept it in the zone, although it's slow.

Fri: 3 recovery miles, did 2.8 at 11 min pace. Cut it short, not feeling well.

Sat: 8 miles, 5 easy, 3 hard. Accomplished it. Ran the first 5 at 70%, let it rip for the last 3. Ended up with 8.4 miles at a 9:55 pace. Improvement.

Sun: 5 mile, middle 3 miles with 1x1 min intervals. I did 1 interval. It was not happening. Ended up with 4.2 and I haven't even looked at the time. It wasn't pretty. Walked a bunch.

Next week is full of work and babysitting commitments as well. I have got to space the runs out better. Hopefully, no more stomach issues, either.
